Cynthia (Tia) Sprague, MS, LCPC, NCC
Cynthia (Tia) is a licensed clinical professional counselor with experience working with diverse clientele who are looking to improve their quality of life. Tia assists clients in discovering previously unidentified barriers that are hindering clients from reaching their goals and establishing new working goals to improve quality of life. Tia utilizes various modes of therapy including cognitive behavioral therapy and a strengths-based approach to assist clients in achieving happiness and health.
Tia began her career as a therapist working for a residential and intensive outpatient eating disorder treatment center in Florida. Once leaving Florida, Tia remained interested and passionate in learning more and working with clients to address issues related to eating disorders and disordered eating. Tia is excited to be working with Nourish to assist clients with identifying the mental and emotional barriers to achieving health goals.
Tia is currently working toward her certification as a trauma professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals. She also works as a crisis professional when she is not working at Nourish. Tia also enjoys spending time with her family exploring Maryland with her husband and daughter, taking walks with her dog, and running.
