We are compassionate, experienced and dedicated to your recovery.

Melanie Beers, RDN, LDN

I’m Melanie Beers, the lead dietitian and director of the NourishED program. I have years of experience working with individuals struggling with eating disorders of all types, disordered eating, body image issues, and sports nutrition.

I use a non-diet, intuitive eating, mindfulness and Health At Every Size approach. I help athletes to optimize performance and fuel their bodies healthfully.

Whether this is your first step on your road to recovery, or if you are stepping down from an eating disorder treatment facility, I am happy to discuss how I can help on your recovery journey.

I see clients at our Towson office.

Melanie’s Bio:
Melanie is the director of nourishED. If you are stepping down from an eating disorder treatment facility, or if you need increased support at home, she would be happy to talk to you about how she can help you on your recovery journey.

Melanie helps her clients build a more positive relationship with food and fitness by using a non-diet approach. She does not promote weight loss diets, but guides her clients to rediscover the joy of tasty food, balanced nutrition, and mindful movement. She provides a safe place for her clients to break up with fad dieting once and for all.

Melanie specializes in:

Non-diet approach, intuitive eating and mindfulness

Adults 18 years+ (or motivated 16+)

When she is not at Nourish, Melanie is outdoors taking photos, hiking the east coast, and living at Trader Joe’s.

Katrina Seidman, MS, RDN, LDN

I’m Katrina Seidman. I work with adults and adolescents who struggle with disordered eating, eating disorders of every type and body image issues. I also work with athletes on sports nutrition.

Whether this is your first step on your road to recovery, or if you are stepping down from an eating disorder treatment facility, I am happy to discuss how I can help on your recovery journey.

I see clients at our Bel Air office.

Katrina’s Bio:
Katrina is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist with a strong background in both nutrition and exercise physiology. She uses a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach, focusing on intuitive eating and movement with clients of all ages and sizes.

Her clients include those with eating disorders and disordered eating, as well as adults who want a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach to improving their relationship with food and overall well being. This involves rejecting external dieting and weight loss rules, and instead, tuning in to our own body’s cues for what it needs, whether it’s a certain food or a physical movement. Together, she works with her clients to develop a practice of trusting and respecting their own body, regardless of weight, with kindness, gentle nutrition, and joyful movement.

At each session, Katrina strives to provide a non-judgemental and safe space that encourages her clients to be curious as she joins with them on their journey to healing, recovery, and lasting physical and mental health. Katrina also uses these approaches to help athletes reach their performance goals.

When she is not working at Nourish, you will find Katrina either at the gym lifting weights or practicing yoga, or cooking up tasty meals for her family of five. Her favorite foods are pizza and fried cauliflower.
